Highest Point Celebration on Queen Emma Bridge

Today a high point celebration has taken place on the HCCC work site at Parera. Local government commissioner Mr. Charles Cooper assisted by Junior Tumba Queen Ms. Cherry-Ann Bernadina and HCCC project management raised a white banner on the bridge. Prior to this ceremony, speeches were given by HCCC Project Manager Mr. Lendering, TAO director Mr. James and Island Commissioner Mr. Cooper. Junior Tumba Queen Cherry-Ann Bernadina also performed her winning tumba, a song about the Queen Emma Bridge, named "Zwaai Bai Bin" Sherry-Ann was also awarded a present by HCCC Project Management for her winning tumba. The official ceremony was followed by a drink and a bite for invitees and press.
