Queen Emma Bridge: Progress Update for November

Progress of the Superstructure Works In November the activities that had started the month before were continued. Further inspection works revealed the lower supporting structure of the bridge to be in worse condition than expected. All lower coupling beams that were lifted for inspection had suffered wet rot and termite attacks, which became only visible after removal of the structure. "Normal" contract activities as girders installation and lower deck placement progress well. New this month is the start of the upper deck installation.
